Collaboration Architect - Office 365/SharePoint
Description

Seeking independent Collaboration Architect consultants with experience in building and maintaining custom collaborative solutions using Office 365 services including but not limited to Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, PowerApps and Power Automate.

The role requires both broad and deep technology knowledge and the ability to architect solutions by mapping common customer business problems to reusable end-to-end technology solutions. Demonstrated ability to engage in senior level technology decision makers discussions related to agility, business value, and end to end information technology security is also a must.

 

Responsibilities
  • Provide solution architecture guidance to support the conceptual and detailed design within projects.
  • Leverage architecture standards, architecture patterns, reference architectures, and other referential means in order to elaborating the most adequate solution architecture meeting functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Validate solution architectures regarding their adequacy and adherence to architecture standards throughout the solution life-cycle.
  • Communicate and explain selected aspects of the solution architecture to appropriate stakeholder groups
  • Take accountability to ensure adherence with Security and Compliance policies and procedures within solution architecture domain scope
  • Create, facilitate, and monitor results of acceptance testing procedures.
  • Create and facilitate performance procedures and issue remediation.
  • Transition projects to ongoing support/maintenance teams.
  • Commitment to growing both personal and team referrals through active brand awareness marketing via social networking, blogging, conferences, summits, trade-shows, local chamber of commerce events, etc…
  • Commitment to ongoing professional learning and development
Desired Experience
  • SharePoint 2010 to 2019 On-Premise migrations from planning to cut-over
  • Development and integration experience with Microsoft Teams
  • Extensive knowledge of SharePoint Designer workflows, effective use of the Data View Web Part (DVWP), InfoPath forms development, Document sets, content query web part, data form web part, navigation customization, and some branding customization.
  • Office 365 development tools: PowerApps, Power Automate, PowerShell Scripting
  • Experience with Angular JSjQuery UI & must know when to use them versus out of the box web parts
  • Experience with modern client-side development and design tools like Gulp/Grunt or Bower
  • SharePoint Designer & Front-end design/development experience using SharePoint Web-parts & Branding
  • Ability to read and generate wire-frames and story boards
  • Ability to create designs that work well in mobile, using techniques like responsive web design
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, editors like Visual Studio, Notepad++, VIM and scripting like CSS, HTML, JavaScript & JQuery
  • Querying data on the front end via REST or client-side frameworks like Angular
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of hands on implementation plus support/maintenance experience with SharePoint 2010-2019
  • Track record of successful projects delivery with SharePoint and SharePoint Online
  • Must be proficient in the full development life-cycle
  • Strong Business Analysis experience
